Written by / Taha Abdullah Al.Ameri     Yesterday the engineer / Ahmed Mo’d Al.Basha .the general director of the organization, take in his office Mr Jonathan Jresl who is the plenipotentialy Minister of agricultural affairs in U.S.A embassy – Sana’a.      they discussed ways to enhance the cooperation in the field of standards and metrology between the organization and American ministry of Agricalture suchas activate the relationship between the organization and the embassy especially the aspects that are related to provide the technical and training support to the staff of the organization in the technical fields including food safety .    ; Also, they discussed the results of the Regional forum which hold in Cairo last week, organized by American food and Drug organization which decided to open a regional office in the Middle East and North Africa , and also, encouraging joint cooperation with the related food safety bodies in the region.     The general director of the organization expressed his pleasure and appreciation for this visit of the plenipotentiary Minister, and for the cooperation and the technical support that are shown from the embassy to the organization .     For his part, Jonathan Jresl assured his country’s keenness to strengthen existing cooperation in the field of standards and metrology, as well as facilitating all the difficulties for the service of the two countries . Also both sides assured at the conclusion of the meeting that the next stage will witness further cooperation between the sides .     The meeting was attended by / Mnsor Shamsan Al.Alsbahi – Director of relations and international cooperation in the organization.
