YSMO refuses to enter a ship loaded with a shipment of flour unfit for human consumption [28 / May / 2020] Sana'a - Saba: YSMO refused to enter a ship loaded with a shipment of flour unfit for human consumption. YSMO stated in a press release issued by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the ship contained 76 thousand bags of wheat flour, in violation of the approved standard specifications. The report indicated that during the test process, live insects and larvae were found in the product, confirming that this quantity not suitable for human consumption. YSMO confirmed that it will not allow the entry of any shipments or goods in voilation of the approved standards, based on its tasks and its supervisory role on products which reach Yemeni markets through the various ports and outlets of the governorates
