At the closing ceremony, the Director General of YSMO, Ibrahim Al-Moayad, explained that the course, which targeted the employees of YSMO, and lasted for three days, aimed at raising awareness of the ISO 17065 standard, which means special requirements for certification bodies and for granting certification to products. He pointed to the importance of this standard, which comes under the concern to enhance the quality of national products such as coffee and Yemeni honey .. He said, “The application of this standard and the rest of its stages will enable these products to obtain a certificate or a quality mark that enhances their position and competitive value in the global markets, since this certificate is required in global markets, such as marketing more quantities of these products. " For his part, the expert from the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Mohamed Adel Rizk, pointed out the importance of this course in enhancing the quality of national products in terms of their competitive value and circulation in global markets.
